Fence itself eating the crops as Power Theft performed by Mohali police.

A ‘kundi’ connection [Unauthorized tapping from overhead line] was detected at a police station in Mohai, Haryana, India and charged for one million INR [15000 United States Dollar] to compensate for the electricity stolen.

The cops were directed to pay the fine within a week. The inspection was based on source information received to DISCOM

This is not a rare issue in Mohali.Many cases involving cops pilfering electricity was detected earlier.
