Power theft in Maharashtra: Fence itself eating away the harvest.

Power theft in Maharashtra: Fence itself eating away the harvest.

Although there are several types of power theft, the simplest is to steal it directly from the power line. This job, while simple, is dangerous. Even in broad daylight, this type of theft has been observed on the sides of major highways such as Delhi-Meerut and Delhi-Agra. Officials are frequently unable to verify this. According to a study, local politics in northern India frequently contribute to power theft. Another example is what happened last week in Maharashtra. Mismanagement is notorious in Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), where power shortages are rampant. Power outages have become a common occurrence in the event of a coal shortage or other problems. The electricity bill is not delivered on a regular basis here. In view of the regular occurrence of power theft in this state, the Minister for Power announced that if the electric charge is not paid, no power will be supplied. The scandal, nevertheless, broke the next day. Even at the meeting attended by the minister, electricity is suspected of being stolen. Those involved are providing status reports. Perhaps the Minister is just not directly involved in this. The wiring contractor carried out the arrangement in that region, i.e. arranging power theft and use of free electricity. In the case of power theft, would you need another example of the fence itself eating away at the harvest?(tamperfinder)
