A man crawled like a serpent to reach the roof of his house in Indian city Ghaziabad to cut an illegal electricity connection to his house during the surprise raid has gone viral on social media, leaving viewers creating numerous trolls.
The Power utility team had gone to raid the house for an illegitimate power connection. When the team reached his house, the man was taken by surprise, instantly made for the roof to remove the incriminating evidence. But, to his dismay, some officials were waiting there already. The Electricity Department in Ghaziabad’s Muradnagar based on source information that some people have illegal connections and raided the area to identify the culprits. In the widespread video, a young man was struggling to cut a wire illegally joined to utility power lines on his balcony. As he crawled out to erase incriminating evidence while the department was conducting a raid an official was already there recording everything.
The team knocked on the front door of a house but there was no response. Knowing the type of power theft, an official reached the balcony next to the house and started making videos. Meanwhile, without knowing the advanced activity of the sleuths, the resident cleverly reached the rooftop to cut off the illegal connection, and as he was going to cut the wires with a tool, the waiting officials announced their presence, making clear that his attempt had failed and caught his power theft red-handed.
